TECHNICAL FAQ
Questions for application planning
What information is needed for TZ-136 evaluation?
Provide the fiber architecture, pump wavelength, target numerical aperture, coating dimensions, draw and cure process and finished-fiber test method.
Can refractive index alone establish pump-light confinement?
No. Fiber geometry, wavelength, coating dimensions, process quality and finished-fiber measurements must be considered together.
Why should liquid and cured values be identified separately?
Refractive-index values depend on material state, wavelength, temperature and test method, so the comparison conditions must be stated.
